Having stayed at numerous campsites over the years and a number of Yelloh sites. We can safely say La Bastine was the best we’ve stayed in. Pool area very modern, facilities clean and the animations team made it for our visit they were excellent and included everyone in a whole range of activities from children to the adults. Will definitely recommend and hope to return again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. The campsite was immaculate and very well ran. We did have an issue with the barrier, it just did not recognise our registration no matter how many times I checked it with reception staff, however, it was not a problem as reception staff were very efficient and friendly and always let us in. The takeaway was delicious as was the restaurant onsite, both very friendly staff. Shop and bakery I found to be such reasonable prices considering it’s an on-site shop. The staff in their were also amazing. My little girl loved the swimming pool, and with it being heated it really made our holiday as the weather wasn’t being kind! We didn’t use the kids club as my daughter is too shy, but I’m sure like the rest of the staff they are also amazing. We would definitely return to this site again.

We were delighted with our stay. Very thing was outstanding, from the stunning, spotlessly clean and well appointed cottage, to the immaculate pools with variety of slides which our kids thoroughly enjoyed and the wonderfully clean and beautiful bar, poolside and entertainment areas. Your staff are a real credit to you as well, with their helpful demeanour and being multi-lingual which was reassuring to our young children who can’t confidently yet speak French. We will definitely be back next year, we loved it!

Onsite restaurant swarmed with flies had to leave our meals and pay in full zero satisfaction when said to the waitress. Mattress in mobile home so uncomfortable really bad sleep for the 7 nights. Saw several rats during our stay and one ran out of the bushes under my sunbed one evening. Lake water is filthy green and smells. Huge mosquito and fly problems covered in bites.

Very enjoyable. The only negative I would have would be the toilet situation. The mixed toilets in the swimming area were dirty and too small. Similarly the main toilets were too small. Not having toilets in Ty Coz was a bit of a mystery to me?!

Great pool complex with just enough room for everyone and with plenty of shade. Friendly and helpful staff. Site layout good. Accommodation in ‘premium’ area fine but maybe showing its age a bit now. Snack bar and restaurant fine - nothing special but did the job. Shop very small but contained the essentials. Location nice and central with easy access (by car) to surrounding places of interest. Initial problems with smell in accommodation resolved quickly - related to drains. Pillows in accommodation changed as well for similar odour related issues! Being honest though given the overwhelming smell it should have been picked up by cleaning crew before we arrived.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Le Serignan Plage. Our cabin accommodation was absolutely adequate for a family holiday being out & about busily everyday. The accommodation had ample supply of all equipment. The towels, bedding etc were all very good and changed midway through our stay. The areas of accommodation are beautifully set out. Planting throughout the site is commendable. The literature provided at check in on the history and ethos of the site is very-well produced. Facilities such as pool, slides, sport areas, bike rental, etc are all exemplary in service and facilities. The quality is of a very high standard, as is the professionalism of staff throughout these areas. The diligence and care of all maintenance staff in caring for all the areas of the site is exemplary. Amenities on site of shop, butchers, fish monger, bakery, pizzeria were all excellent in staff and the quality of produce available. We loved being able to explore the immediate surroundings on our bikes and travel around Vallras Plage to explore this little town also. Overall, we had an excellent holiday at Le Serignan Plage and I would recommend it to others. Thank you for helping make our family holiday special.

We loved the site, really one of the best we have been to. It’s beautifully kept and the pitches feel private even though they are quite tightly packed. Our cottage lagoon was excellent. The pool and balneo are excellent, the entertainment is wonderful and my daughter loved the kids club. We found the kids reps to be much more engaging this year. They always greeted her excitedly which made a huge difference. She started the holiday saying she didn’t want to go based on her experience last year (she said the reps didn’t speak much to her last year) but by our second week she wanted to go every day! So thank you to the kids reps for all their hard work and engaging kids in all languages, they really made her holiday.

I thoroughly enjoyed my overall stay. The toilets and showers were excellent and very clean. The shows were very enjoyable, although during our trip, there were 4 nights in one week without any shows due to football matches. Neither my girls nor I are football fans, so we found ourselves without entertainment on those nights, which was a bit disappointing since we chose Le Serignan specifically for its entertainment offerings. Despite this, I am planning to return next year because I love the campsite overall. One other issue I noticed was that the staff at the bakery did not use gloves when handling bread. I observed a staff member using her phone, handling money, sweeping the floor, and then picking up bread without washing her hands. While I don't mind bare hands if they are clean, handling money and then food is very unhygienic. The teen shows are all in French, which can be limiting for many guests. While the core clientele is French, there are also many Danish visitors who only speak English and Danish, as well as numerous other English-speaking guests who can't participate in the French-language activities. I also think the welcome night could be improved by offering a glass of Prosecco for adults and juice for children. This would be a nice touch and make everyone feel more welcome. I’m a day back from 12 days at Camping Port’land. This is an honest review but to start with, we absolutely will be booking again and I urge you to book if you are thinking of it. We were a family of 6 including 2 elderly, 2 adults and 2 children, meaning we wanted the full range of the site’s amenities. Firstly the location is excellent. 15 minutes from Bayeux if you take the long way and 5 minutes from the lovely town of Port en Bessin. Also nestled between Gold and Omaha beaches if, like us you also want to honour the history of Normandy. The welcome was excellent and thank you to the staff who quickly judged my French was novice at best but helped me along so my hours on DuoLingo haven’t been wasted. We were in one of the 2 pod Premier Cabins in the Juno area (each area of the site is named after one of the landing beaches), which is close to the play area, and also a very swift drive from the entrance. Brilliantly the site also has 6 charge points in the car park, with good enough charging speed that I could charge to full overnight when I needed to. One of those points takes Electroverse card as well which is a bonus. The accommodation was excellent - clean and clearly new, with dishwasher, TV and other premium amenities. Beds were all made on arrival and we were given plenty of towels. The deck also faced south so we had the sun pretty much all day. The site is beautiful - with lakes to stroll around, a mini beach area and all well landscaped so was perfect for an evening walk. There is also a gate to walk through on one side of the site and by crossing a field you are then right on the actual beach. The play area is excellent, with volleyball sand area, a football/basketball court and a great play area and bouncy castle. There were lots of activities for children and the entertainment staff were brilliant. My son played in a football tournament, and despite not speaking the same language, all the children got on and enjoyed themselves. The restaurant
