The Yelloh! Village Bassegoda Park is not just another campsite in Catalonia. This starry campsite is unique in the world, having been awarded Starlight certification in 2015! What's more, Bassegoda Park is the gateway to the Albanyà International Dark Sky Reserve, the first and only one in Spain to be designated by the International Dark-Sky Association.

Starfest: the great party in the sky
In July, Yelloh! Village Bassegoda Park organises Starfest, a unique event dedicated to astronomy. For two weekends, we invite you to immerse yourself in the world of the Universe and the stars throughout the Albanyà campsite, with a special programme that includes observation sessions, lectures by experts, interactive workshops, and other amusing activities. All accompanied by the sound of live music.
The campsite food truck will also be on hand to serve up some delicious dishes during this convivial occasion.
The Starfest festival takes place over two weekends, from 4 to 7 July and 11 to 14 July.
Discover astronomical observation
Opposite the campsite, a building and a large stage may catch your eye. And with good reason, since this is the campsite's astronomical observatory! The province of Alta Garrotxa is reputed to be one of, if not the finest area in Western Europe for astronomical observation.
Experience it for yourself at Yelloh! Village Bassegoda Park, as they offer you the opportunity to try your hand at stargazing. An amphitheatre has been created where they present the topic, allowing you to appreciate the night sky with a more discerning eye. Prepare to be amazed by this extraordinary natural phenomenon.
