Located only 10 km from the beaches of the Costa Dorada and 12 km from Tarragona, Reus is an architectural gem! The most important modernist building in the town, the "Casa Navàs", was designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, between 1901 and 1907. But it is not merely the exterior, facing onto the "Plaça del Mercadal", that attracts its many visitors but the incredible interior decoration with its ceramics, mosaics, stained glass and original furnishings. Casa Rull, its façade decorated with winged lions, and Casa Gasull, were both the work of the same architect, and both fully deserve a closer look. Taken as a whole these early 20th century monuments make Reus a truly modernist town!

Famous as the town where Antoni Gaudí was born and grew up, Reus offers visitors a tourist trail that takes in not only the house where he was born and the church where he was christened but also the Gaudí Centre: a unique venue that showcases his lifetime's work! This innovative study centre takes you deep into Gaudí's world, offering a hands-on opportunity to literally feel his genius through its interactive exhibits.  Not to be missed when visiting Reus!
