The beaches of Cap d’Agde

The easiest way to reach the beaches that lie only 1km from the campsite? Simply to follow the cycle track! Equipped to ensure maximum safety, it links the campsite to 14km of soft fine sand. What better way to take the whole family to the seaside?

Did you know? The cape is in fact the southern most tip of the Auvergne chain of volcanoes. Fort Brescou, the beach whose shells, cliffs and black sand are the result of under-water and land-based volcanic eruptions - phenomena that prompted the development of a rich and varied underwater fauna, and even today offer up all the miracles released by this unique water. An invitation to relax, walk along the waterfront, and enjoy magical moments in harmony with nature. Unique on this coastline, underwater trips are organised by our activity leaders and the Tourist Office. A variety of diving and walking tours are available for you to discover the exceptional flora and fauna on this volcanic coastline.
