Yelloh! Village is delighted to welcome 4 new campsites for the 2024 season. Take a look at these holiday villages, which are an invitation to (re-)visit some of the most beautiful destinations in France.
Le Ranc Davaine : the joys of swimming in the Ardèche
Near Ruoms in the heart of the Ardèche, you’ll find the 5 star Le Ranc Davaine campsite, the ideal spot for a family holiday. This brand new Yelloh! Village is paradise for campers of every age, boasting a gigantic water park with water slides and a range of top-notch services. So, what’s on the agenda?
Children’s clubs, a wellness area with hammam, a restaurant showcasing Ardèche cuisine and a multisports ground… and last but certainly not least, comfortable accommodation named after the local flora.
But one of the campsite’s greatest assets is its idyllic environment. If you enjoy wild swimming, you’ll have direct access to the River Chassezac. Apart from enjoying a refreshing dip, you can also partake in a wide range of water sports: canyoning, rafting, canoeing and kayaking …
And take advantage of your location to discover the Gorges de l’Ardèche, Vallon-Pont-d’Arc and its spectacular arch, as well as all the many cultural and gastronomic wonders that this department has to offer.
Bassegoda Park : a Catalan campsite set under the stars
Now let’s turn our sights to the Catalan Pyrenees and the Spanish province of Girona, where you’ll be won over by the natural charm of the mountains and gorges of the Muga River. Take a holiday at Yelloh! Village Bassegoda Park in Albanyà, a unique campsite praised by nature lovers and stargazers alike.
Located in Spain’s very best astronomical observation area, you’ll benefit from access to the site’s observatory during the entertaining evenings devoted to the stars.
In the daytime, you can set off on the superb hiking and mountain biking trails to explore the natural environment along the gorges of the Muga. At the campsite, activities are organised so that children and adults can have fun together, and at the weekends there are also special theme days. A dip in the pool will be a real treat, especially when the temperature soars.
Another standout feature of the campsite is its focus on mushrooms! Not only is the mushroom the site’s emblem, but every autumn there’s a special mushroom fair! You’ll also be able to savour the delicious Catalan specialities at the campsite restaurant.
In short, at Yelloh! Village Bassegoda Park, you’ll have a truly unique stay with a range of surprising activities that you won’t find anywhere else.
Domaine Les Carrelets : the Médoc and the Atlantic beckon
What is so wonderful about the Atlantic coast is the gentle way of life, all year round. On this beautiful unspoilt coastline, you’ll benefit from a pleasantly mild climate, even in summer, fine sandy beaches, authentic villages and secluded spots... not to mention the gastronomic and oenological delights of the Médoc.
The new Yelloh! Village Domaine Les Carrelets welcomes you in Soulac-sur-Mer, not far from the Gironde estuary and the well-known Cordouan lighthouse. The 5 star campsite has recently been refurbished to ensure your holiday lives up to your expectations. To keep you occupied, you’ll find a water park with outdoor and covered swimming pools, restaurants and snack bars, a wellness centre and brand new sports facilities.
The rental units have also been renewed, with a range of comfortable accommodation for 2 to 10 people (in the Twin units) – big enough to get even the biggest families all together!
To keep you entertained all summer long, there are exciting activities and shows for all ages, as well as the children's clubs. Nearby you’ll find the Atlantic Ocean offering all the joys of surfing and the beach, just 3 km from the campsite. And there are plenty of places to explore:
- Visit the oyster-farming villages and ports to sample the oysters and feel the sea breeze
- The Dunes and Marshes of Hourtin nature reserve, with its unrivalled biodiversity
- The Bordeaux vineyards of the Médoc, famous the world over…
Aluna Vacances : a campsite that really rocks!
The Ardèche is one of our campers’ favourite French destinations. And just like last year, we're honoured to have a second campsite in the region join Yelloh! Village: Aluna Vacances.
Located in Ruoms and just 10 km from Le Ranc Davaine, this family-friendly establishment offers holidaymakers an amazing water park and a full range of outdoor hospitality services worthy of a 5 star campsite!
Aluna Vacances is also known for its Aluna Festival event, which attracts thousands of visitors every year, along with some big names from the French music scene, including Orelsan, Shaka Ponk, Florent Pagny and more! The rest of the summer, the campsite is just as lively with an entertainment programme designed to appeal to kids and grown-ups alike.
If you’re something of a performer, try your hand at the circus arts, or if you’re more of the sporty type, compete in one of the many tournaments.
