Marvejols-Mende Half Marathon

During your camping holiday in the Lozère, come and watch or run the Marvejols-Mende half marathon. From all across France, nearly 5,000 runners will be covering the 22.4 km course that starts from Marvejols. Throughout the event spectators, musicians and dancers will be on hand to encourage the participants. The breathtaking scenery, daytime and evening entertainment and the welcoming atmosphere are all key to this fabulous event.

If you want to discover the Pont des Écureuils (Squirrel Bridge), the two legendary passes or the village of Goudard at a slightly more leisurely pace, the route is also open to walkers. The latter set off 1hr before the runners and follow the same path. But there are no winners or losers here, just a great moment of sharing and companionship in the midst of a fabulous natural environment. Your children can also take part in one of the headline races, each year 400 children aged 5 to 15 years line up for the off. Whether it be at the refuelling stations, in the heart of the race or during the entertainment, the kids certainly have their place.
