Fires in the Landes - La Rive campsite
24 July 2026 - Suspension of arrivals
Due to an ongoing fire in the municipality of Biscarrosse, the authorities have decided to suspend the arrival of all new customers at La Rive campsite. The site remains accessible to customers who have already checked in to their accommodation or pitch.
At this stage, the campsite has not been affected by the fire, customers currently on site are safe, and our teams remain on alert to closely monitor how the situation develops.
By order of the Landes Prefecture, in order to limit travel in the area and facilitate the work of the emergency services:
- Customers with an arrival date scheduled this weekend and up to and including Monday 27 July will unfortunately not be able to be welcomed as planned. However, they will be able to postpone their arrival from Tuesday 28 July, depending on how the situation develops and subject to authorisation from the prefectural authorities.
- Customers with an arrival date scheduled from Tuesday 28 July onwards are asked to wait and will receive information about their booking by email in the coming hours, depending on how the situation develops on site.
- Customers currently staying at the campsite are asked to remain on site: prefectural restrictions mean that any departure is definitive.
The campsite teams remain fully committed alongside the authorities to ensure the safety, information and support of holidaymakers.
