They also organize tournaments: ping-pong, tennis, petanque, beach volleyball, sandball, archery... You'll be in great shape when you return from your holidays, especially if you use our brand-new wellness room.
A complete fitness programme is available for you: stretches, abs and glutes, weights, step, aquagym, and much more.
Every morning there are 4 different sporting activities on offer (jogging, archery, beach handball, football tennis, water polo, roller skating). Come and find us in the afternoon from Monday to Sunday for a great sports tournament (table tennis, petanque, basketball, football, beach volleyball, tennis, and much more).
You will go home after your holiday completely fit...
Rambling and mountain biking
Don your walking boots or get out your bike! It's time to set off at a leisurely pace to explore our beautiful region. A cycle path, which is protected from the road, takes you from Contis to St Julien en Born, while another one takes you to Saint Girons Plage or further north to Mimizan. These paths, threading their way through the pine trees bordering the beach, are part of the Vélodyssée route, which goes from Roscoff in Brittany to Hendaye in the Pays Basque, stretching along the Atlantic coast for more than 1,400 km! Over 40km of sign-posted forest footpaths and mountain-biking tracks allow you to go through the Landes forest and its natural heritage. Maps are available at the tourist office (Office de Tourisme), and discovery outings can be organized by the activities team.
Bike rental available in the campsite.
The Descent of the Courant de Contis
Stand-up paddle, canoeing or kayaking on the Courant de Contis, a rare 450-hectare area of marshland, listed as a "Natura 2000" site. Come and admire the rare protected species, the Mercury damselflies, European pond turtles, otters, herons, kingfishers...
Come and discover this natural environment and spend a delightful time on a river that is accessible to all.
There is a horse riding centre near the campsite, where you can indulge your love of horses and try one of the most beautiful sports in a unique setting: guided visits, excursions on the beach, rides through the forest. It is also possible for real devotees to follow classes and take an exam.
In the Petits Loups beach club on the supervised beach of Contis, the French Surf School will learn you surfing on the waves. A State-qualified SURF and SWIMMING instructor has set up a programme that caters for those aged 5-14 and over wishing to try out or take up surfing, or to improve their technique.

Open from April to November, the Ecole Max Respect Association has been an approved French surfing and body-boarding school since 1996. It is open to everyone from the age of 5, and for all levels: taster, beginners, improvers, training. Supervision by state-certified life-saving instructors. Equipment supplied (boards and wetsuits). Special group programmes can be arranged.
Have a go at Stand Up Paddle as well, as part of an introductory session on the Contis river. Or for a bit more independence, you could hire a surfboard and head for the waves!
Aerial assault courses

Come and propel yourself from tree to tree on an adventure trail devised and created for everybody, 3 kilometres from the campsite. 70 workshops, four trails for adults and children over 1m40, and a trail for youngsters from the age of 5 under parental supervision. Two Tarzan jumps, Himalayan bridges, Tibetan bridges, étriers, over 700 metres of challenging aerial runways in complete safety. The equipment provided complies with standard regulations.
