Origins of Happiness
Discover the origins of Yelloh! Village Holiday Green. Behind this oasis of greenery lies a story — the story of a daring bet that seemed almost unthinkable at the time: choosing nature over the bustle of the seafront.
A project rooted in nature
Before becoming a renowned estate on the Côte d’Azur, Holiday Green began with a simple idea: to offer, on the heights of Fréjus, a peaceful holiday destination centred on nature. In the 1970s, a few rentals appeared. In 1980, Gérard Biancone shaped the site’s identity: a campsite where space, tranquillity and comfort come first — away from the seaside crowds, yet close to what truly matters.
The Californian pool, rare and innovative at the time, rapidly became the heart of the estate. A place to meet, to relax, to get to know one another. Season after season, Holiday Green grew at its own pace, without chasing trends, cultivating instead what defines its charm: simple hospitality, a warm atmosphere, and a wooded setting where families feel at home.
Year after year, new services emerged — activities, facilities, more comfortable accommodation — always with respect for the original spirit: a place for sunshine, conviviality and an authentic, effortless holiday experience. This solid foundation, patiently built, is what allows Holiday Green to preserve its unique character today.
A family story
Twenty years later, it was Pascale — the eldest of five siblings — who took over, together with Daniel. Together, they carried Holiday Green forward, bringing their eye for detail, their vision of hospitality and a touch of contemporary art.
Because Holiday Green is, above all, a story of transmission, passion and loyalty: “Here, people come for the sunshine, the smiles, and the memories that last. A story that continues to be written, season after season, with the same passion as on the very first day.”
