The diving centre at the Sant Miquel campsite

Diving is undoubtedly one of the most popular activities during a campsite holiday by the sea. Exploring the seabed and its treasures is always an awe-inspiring experience. Would you like to learn how to dive too? Then we’ve got great news for you! The Sant Miquel campsite runs introductory diving sessions and training courses. Even better, the diving centre is located within our campsite located on the Costa Brava!

Colera Diving Centre: Your diving centre at Yelloh! Village Sant Miquel

The Sant Miquel campsite in Colera on the Costa Brava is well aware that the coastline here is teeming with Mediterranean treasures. And to facilitate your diving experience during a holiday on the Costa Brava, the campsite has its own diving centre just a few short steps from your Yelloh! Village accommodation!

For this activity, you’ll find the same high standards as in the rest of the campsite. Benefit from a supervised dive to descend safely into the depths in very comfortable conditions. To provide a quality service, the Colera Diving Centre is fully equipped:

  • A washing and drying area for the equipment

  • Changing rooms, as well as indoor and outdoor showers

  • A large training room, which can also be made available to customers and groups

  • 2 trucks to transport equipment and boats

  • Over 150 Nitrox bottles, with capacities of 6, 10, 12 and 15 litres. As well as a complete range of diving equipment: suits, regulators, jackets, masks, fins, booties, etc.

Finally, there are two boats to take you out to sea and to the diving spots:

  • the Llissa IV, a semi-rigid 8.5-metre-long vessel that can carry 14 divers

  • and the Fly Blue, a 16.5-metre-long vessel which has 2 x 480 hp engines and can transport up to 45 divers at once

Diving areas

The Yelloh! Village Sant Miquel diving centre is fortunate to be located close to three outstanding marine areas, offering some fascinating sights. This will make your experience all the more stunning. You can dive in:

  • The Cap de Creus Natural Park: a protected and very well-preserved environment, deemed to be one of, if not THE best spot in the region. Here, clear waters, several depths and splendid gorgonian corals await!

  • The Cerbère-Banyuls Marine Nature Reserve: located on the French side of Catalonia, this area is renowned for its rich fauna.

  • The Colera-Portbou fishing area: this has the advantage of being protected from the winds, so you can discover lobsters, moray, nudibranchs, and more, even when the weather is being fickle!
