A water park to enjoy the water come rain or shine

Take advantage of our brand new water park! Brand new, it's sure to delight young and old alike.

An indoor area with a swimming pool, jacuzzi and Nordic pool will enable you to spend some pleasant moments swimming on your own or with family and friends.

There are also two outdoor areas for swimming and sunbathing under the Normandy sky.

Loose-fitting swimming shorts are forbidden in the bathing area. Only close-fitting swimming briefs and swimsuits are permitted.

The ideal water park for a first taste of fun in the water

At the Portland campsite, your children will love their time in the water. The youngest will get their first taste of the joys to be had when they splash around in the play pool and paddling pool. Then they can start to enjoy swimming in the larger indoor and outdoor pools.

Your older children can spend their time whizzing down the water slides. There's also a 48 m spiral slide for them to enjoy while cooling off.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising their children.

Lovely beaches waiting to be explored

The great thing about Yelloh! Village Portland is that it’s ideally located for you to make the most of the beaches that line the English Channel. You can even visit the D-Day landing beaches which are less than 15 km away.

As well as swimming at the beaches, which are supervised but retain all their wild and authentic charm, you can also retrace one of the most important moments in history. Along the coast, various monuments commemorate the Normandy landings of 6 June 1944.

We can particularly recommend three swimming spots for their beauty, their sand banks and their historical significance: the beaches at Colleville-sur-Mer, Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer and Vierville-sur-Mer. Places that are encompassed by Omaha Beach, the code name that the Allied forces gave these beaches.
