The bathing area at the camping Le Village Western

For swimming, having fun, relaxing, sunbathing or simply for getting together at any time of the day, head for the superb bathing area at the Yelloh! Village Le Village Western! Heated all season long, the 3 swimming pool areas are simply perfect. So don’t hesitate to stretch out on a sunlounger or on one of the “homemade” Adirondack chairs of the solarium terrace, then switch off and enjoy a well-earned rest! Looking for real aquatic fun? Give into temptation and whizz down the 3 superb water slides in the bathing area. And your children? They’ll have a whale of a time in the aquatic playground and in the paddling pool.

The sublime covered aquatic area with its vast windows never fails to delight. Everything has been carefully planned for everyone’s well-being. Those with an athletic bent will be able to enjoy a few lengths in one of the two 25m swimming lanes. Awesome! And after a good workout in the water, come and unwind as you relax on the massage seats or in the whirlpool bath. But that’s not all! In this area with its blissful zen ambiance, you can also make the most of the sanarium (half-way between a sauna and a hammam). So, what do you think of this covered area?

Just 500 metres from the campsite, a mere 10-minute walk, lies the Hourtin-Carcans Lake. On your programme? Buckets, spades and rakes for your little darlings, watersports for those a little older. And whilst the kids are making the most of the lifeguarded bathing area, teenagers, and even you parents, can try kitesurfing, SUP or windsurfing. So, ready for a wonderful family day out at the water’s edge?

You prefer your water with a salty tang? No worries! Only 10km from the campsite and you’re already on the amazing ocean beaches of Hourtin, with their endless stretches of white sand. Take a deep breath of fresh air, it’s time to dive into the ocean waves!
