You can even take the small steam train for an original way to discover the wonders of the bay, or take a boat ride to see the seals or try sand sailing and kayaking!
The Abbaye de Valloires and its famous gardens lie in the heart of the Authie valley, some twenty kilometres from the campsite. Founded by the Counts of Ponthieu in 1137, Valloires is today the only perfectly preserved Cistercian abbey. A listed historical monument, it welcomes visitors for a visit rich in both culture and nature thanks to its superb gardens covering nearly 8 hectares and containing over 5,000 different plant varieties.
Our advice: Discover the Rose Garden in May, not only are the perfumes exceptional... but you can even taste them.
