La Pointe de la Torche

When on holiday in the Finistère, set off to explore Pointe de la Torche , a peninsula brimming with legends and history.

Spotlight on Pointe de la Torche

Pointe de la Torche is a headland jutting out from the south of Audierne Bay, near the small town of Plomeur in the Finistère. A natural gem that truly epitomises Brittany, Pointe de la Torche offers visitors spectacular scenery whatever the season. In spring, in addition to the outstanding views of the Atlantic, multicoloured tulips carpet swathes of land here.

What to see and do?

Pointe de la Torche is also a highly popular spot for board sports such as surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing, and a whole host of competitions are held here all year round. Thrill seekers certainly won’t be disappointed!

Hikers and nature lovers are spoilt for choice too, with several megalithic sites waiting to be explored.
