First held in 1958, the Festival de la Porta Ferrada is Spain’s oldest music festival. Set in the charming coastal town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, it offers a unique experience where the sea meets the mountains. With an eclectic line-up spanning pop, jazz, classical and flamenco, the festival attracts major national and international artists.
Its name comes from the “Porta Ferrada”, a 10th-century monastery gate in the heart of the town. This historical landmark lends the event a distinctive cultural flavour, blending heritage with modernity.
Magical summer nights with world-renowned artists, intimate performances under the stars, enchanting venues, and an immersive atmosphere where music, history and Mediterranean charm unite.
If you're planning to make the most of the festival, why not do the same for your accommodation? Yelloh! Village campsites on the Costa Brava offer the perfect setting for an unforgettable stay. With fully equipped rentals, family-friendly water areas, practical services and plenty of activities, everything’s in place for a dream holiday.
