First held in 1958, the Festival de la Porta Ferrada is Spain’s oldest music festival. Set in the charming coastal town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, it offers a unique experience where the sea meets the mountains. With an eclectic line-up spanning pop, jazz, classical and flamenco, the festival attracts major national and international artists.

Its name comes from the “Porta Ferrada”, a 10th-century monastery gate in the heart of the town. This historical landmark lends the event a distinctive cultural flavour, blending heritage with modernity.
