Have you heard of the Fête du Lac?

A highlight of Annecy’s summer season, the Fête du Lac dates back to the 19th century and is now hailed as one of Europe’s largest pyrotechnic spectacles. Each year, over 100,000 spectators gather to watch a 70-minute extravaganza of fireworks, water displays, dazzling lights and an enchanting soundtrack. All of it takes place in the stunning setting of the Bay of Albigny.

What’s on the programme?

Expect a lively day packed with entertainment along the lakeside. The festivities often begin with relaxed picnics in the nearby parks. As night falls, the excitement builds to a breathtaking finale: an epic fireworks display that lights up both the sky and the lake, leaving everyone with stars in their eyes.
