Kids' clubs are open throughout the season:

• Low season :Open 5 days a week from 10am to midday OR from 3pm to 5pm 
• High season : Open 6 days a week from 10am to midday and from 3pm to 5pm

On the river Ubaye, France’s fourth classified river, enjoy all the gliding sports: rafting, river-boarding, canoeing, kayaking, etc. 

On the Serre-Ponçon lake, Europe's largest volume of water - a sea in the mountains – sailing, water skiing, electric boat, boat trip around the lake, wakeboarding, tubing, kitesurfing and of course bathing on the beaches or on creeks.

Come and try out this adventure trail in the trees, at the Parc des Ecureuils, right next to the village.
Swing, like Tarzan, from one point to another. Or else, cycle the whole length of the rope rigging, 20 metres above the ground! Thrills guaranteed! 4 circuits available, for all ages. Open every day.

At 200 metres from the campsite, take the Plateau chairlift to an altitude of 2,000 m to see the marmots, flowers, the communal flock, the panoramic view, and watch a paraglider taking off.
Taking the chairlift, experience this magical scenic viewpoint with its 360° panorama from the 2,300m-high ridge, go for refreshments at the Dormilleuse fort, at 2,500m, or you can go down the other side towards the high-altitude Col lakes.
Open every day during July and August and weekends only during off-season.

200 metres from the Village: paragliding school, and introductory flight and courses available.
Montclar is a paragliding mecca. The site, which benefits from a good height differential and an exceptional climate, is much appreciated by clubs. Numerous competitions are organised here. “Ushuaia: The Ultimate Adventure”, the famous TV programme on adventure and nature, was filmed here.

Numerous lakes, rivers, and high-altitude lakes are accessible, roughly 10 km from the campsite; fishing licences are required.
On the lake of "Le Lauzet sur Ubaye", 10 km away, fishing is free.

You can take lessons at an equestrian farm, 5km from the village, or go hacking and trekking to explore our beautiful valley, a land of contrasts.

From our campsite, you can explore numerous hiking trails, either in valleys or along ridges.
The activity leaders will suggest some magnificent walks for you. In Reception, we can lend you route sheets and maps. You can also book hikes with a guide. You'll be amazed by the diversity and beauty of our unspoilt countryside, and by the stunning views that you will discover from the ridges!

Just 200m from the village, mountain biking lessons and mountain bikes for hire, maps for hire, circuits using GPS or guided hikes with chairlift included or not included.

Just 200m from the village, you can hire a downhill grass scooter for use on the resort's pistes. Guided outings which go down to the lake (a descent of 1000m) can be arranged.

500 metres from the village and we’re at the Col St Jean, which is the first of the 7 Alpine passes that you’ll be able to climb (la Bonette-Restefond 2,809 m, Allos, La Cayolle, Vars, and Larche). At each summit, a machine will enable you to record your passage and thus to obtain your certificate of the 7 passes! A real challenge! You will appreciate the cycle-tourism sign-posting on the kilometre markers!

50 km away, these are rocky routes, of Italian origin, which are made quite secure by a cable or metal steps. Novices must be accompanied by a guide. Booking required.

30km away you'll find 100 routes, ranging in difficulty from 4 to 8b, throughout the sector. 50km away, le Rocher de Céüse is a cliff 4km in length, between 30 and 130m high, with 400 routes ranging from 5a to 9a+.

Barcelonnette golf course, 35 km away: 9 holes, club house, driving range, a 4-km course.
45km away there are two 18-hole golf courses (Gap and Dignes-les-Bains)

Just 200 m from the campsite is a mini golf course, open during the day all season and at night from July to August.

Just 200 m from the campsite, the ski resort of St Jean MONTCLAR has created 8 downhill pistes, from blue to black, during which you descend by 600m. You go up by chairlift (detachable) and the journey takes 7 minutes.

With our partner Rapid’eau Raft, rafting trips leave from the village every week. And don't forget to go to the Rapid'eau Raft centre at other times during the week, as they also organise canyoning trips.
