A taste of Dolce Vita

Surrounded by his passionate staff, chef Marco Piazzalunga serves up his take on the great classics of Italian cuisine. He takes all the authentic and traditional elements of cooking from the other side of the Alps and adds his own bold creativeness into the mix.

Pizza, pasta, seafood and desserts... you’ll find them all here! The making of your pizza will actually be something of a show... because the pizza oven is found right in the dining room! Enough to tempt you to try the signature pizza, the Occhio di Polifemo. For pasta lovers, the Tagliolini with Sicilian prawns is sure to be a hit. Simply delicious!

    Committed, acclaimed cuisine

More than a passion, the restaurant’s cuisine reflects an entire philosophy. All the dishes are home-made, using outstanding ingredients protected by various labels (IGP, DOP etc.). For example, the chef uses 100% organic Italian flour, processed in the traditional way and stone-milled. This “Evolutiva” flour is made from a blend of 2,000 different types of wheat, all grown in the same field in Sicily.

Chef Piazzalunga’s work is the result of 25 years’ experience as a head chef. His career even includes a stint as the personal chef of Francesco Cossiga, the former Italian president.

A decor that takes you on a journey

In the dining room, everything has been designed to continue the Italian theme. Starting with the wooden tables and the checked tablecloths, two typical features of a tavola calda. Every little thing has been taken care of. The colour of the napkins, the music, the spaghetti alle vongole served in a pan, the desserts served in individual jars... Everywhere you look, there’s a detail to evoke Italy.

When the weather’s fine, the best thing is to eat out on the shaded terrace. It is an extension of the dining room and keeps up the Mediterranean feel with the plants all the way around. You’ll feel as if the Mediterranean is waiting for you just behind, ready for a dip.
