Le Village Western camping reviews

All in all a nice site. We booked a shaded serviced pitch, we were contacted to say we could have one or the other after booking which was fine, however we were not informed that there were no facilities to fill fresh water or empty grey waste other than using the elsan facilities, which we felt were not hygienic. When I approached the site team about this they were helpful but a reasonable solution for the drinking water was not achieved until the last couple of days of our two week holiday. We also found that the dust created on the roads was excessive. Some areas of the site seem a little tired (a fair bit of rotten wood) Soap or sanitiser in the toilets we found to be empty on nearly every occasion. Pool facilities were great, bike hire was easy and staff helpful (local map given to us), shop was good, pre booking bread the day before a great idea, the one lady we were served by in the bar was really nice, animations lady approached our children to join in activities (she was very nice and warm). Good range of activities on offer, reception staff always helpful and friendly. Park location perfect for the lake and town and good for the beach.
