It was really lovely. The pool area was great but we were not understanding the reason for only allowing those tight shorts. The man did suggest it could be incase we went to the beach and they wore their swim shorts and got sand in them or that they may generally just wear the shorts all day. Instead of having 5 pairs of swim shorts to wear on the holiday all the boys in our family bought the ones from your shop and had 1 pair for the whole 2 weeks. Surely that would be less hygienic? You would have been better letting them wear the clean ones! Also I was interested that on a regular basis the entertainment people would throw themselves and others into the pool water fully clothed. That does not really fit with your mens/boys, tiny, tight swimwear policy either. Other than that it was mostly great. Pool area was great. I did feel the bar area was over priced. Entertainment was good. A couple of the reception staff were totally amazing. A few did rather seem like they did not want to be there!!!

We were there with two grandchildren and they had a great time. I chose a facility that had their Kids Club operating in June, since we wanted the boys to mix and talk with French children, which worked out really well. They enjoyed that and also playing with other kids in the playground. We had a big shop at a supermarket before we arrived and during our stay relied totally on the Yelloh Village shop, which was very convenient. (especially since we had to race off as soon as we arrived, to buy toilet paper which was not supplied, not even a small bit on arrival) It was great to be able to buy fresh bread and pastries every day, sometimes still warm from the oven. We really liked that all the cabins and tent sites had their own personal space, separated from others by hedges and trees. We booked the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin, even though we were only 2 adults and 2 children and were very pleased that we had, since the space is very compact, reminding me of ships cabins. If there had been more in our party, we would have had to eat outside on the deck. There were plenty of plates, etc for us. Luckily we had air conditioning, since it was very hot during our stay. The A/C was not terribly efficient, taking almost half a day to cool the unit down on our arrival, but after that was OK. The pool was good. It was closed one day but luckily someone told us that with our Yelloh Village 'bracelet' we were entitled to us the pools at two nearby Yelloh Villages too. Although there was free WiFi throughout the site, the connections was mostly quite poor, probably because of the sheer volume of people using it. Sometimes, even though the connection was supposedly good, very simple emails took ages to send. Overall, a very good holiday and we would certainly consider returning to a Yelloh Village again if looking after grandchildren.

We enjoyed staying at Le Petite Camargue, the facilities were excellent and staff very friendly.
We were disturbed, however during the weekend by the very loud, abusive and drunken revelry of the rugby group nearby. They even threatened someone who asked them to be quiet and paid no attention to your security guard. This type of behaviour will not enhance the reputation of your Yelloh Village
