Very friendly and helpful staff, resort extremely tidy, clean and well maintained. Good service in the restaurant and all six of us thought the food was excellent. The only negative was that the small supermarket didn’t open until the following week. Handy SuperU supermarket less than 2k away if you have transport, although there is a minibus service from the site.

An excellent, clean and peaceful site. A pity that we had so much rain but it didn’t stop us enjoying the surrounding area which is full of very interesting places to visit. A shame that the shop does not open until July and that the bar closes at 9 but we realise that it is low season. Our private facilities were great with lots of storage space and fridge as well as shower and toilet.

Lovely well-maintained campsite with a good range of mobile homes and camping pitche, sunny and shady. Gated access to the banks of the river Creuse much appreciated by our dog for off-lead walks. helpful very pleasant staff.

Another good experience at a Yelloh! campsite. Everything was available even though it was in the early season. An exceptional meal provided by the restaurant staff for a party of 36 including catering for several different dietary requirements.

Lovely setting, very friendly and helpful staff, and excellent facilities. The pool complex was great and our group meal in the restaurant was outstanding - congratulations to the four of you who produced it in such a confined space! It was a shame the shop wasn't yet open, but the bread ordering worked perfectly, and Super U was very close. It would be helpful if the Welcome Box contained some washing-up liquid and a kitchen cloth (I'm sure they used to at previous Yelloh! sites I've visited), but otherwise all excellent.

Great site and facilities (including bar and restaurant) close to the town - you can walk in for restaurants etc. Only suggestion relates to the absence of a shop on site after July and August - even just ability to obtain necessities on site like bottled water would have been really helpful given the exceptionally hot weather during our stay. We would consider coming back and recommending the site to others. Would be good to stay when horse racing is in at track next door to the site.

Outside of peak season, we stock a couple of necessities (like bottled water) at the bar, but your best bet is to pop to our local supermarket that's only 800m away.You'll definitely have to come and visit us again when the races are on - it makes for a really fun afternoon!
