It was our first stay at a yelloh village and we loved it! The pool was great, the kids loved the mini disco and we found the site really nice and quiet.
The cottage was exactly what we needed and so clean and easy to look after. It had everything we needed.

A very nice campsite, with good facilities, however had difficulty as level of english speaking of some staff was poor. Also some electric points on the camp pitches didn't work, would be nice if shared electric blocks were on a neutral pitch, as had some disturbance from people as they were arriving and leaving their pitches and trying to find a spare / working electric socket.
Food / bar / were good, pool was great, but in need of a toilet within the enclosed area for small children to access without adult assistance. Also hotter water for washing up in main toilet block would help, and temperature adjust ment to the showers as they were just too hot for the kids.
Internet acess was not possible on my old laptop and was expensive, like the shop and the washing machines.
manager / receptionist were very freindly and helpful when required.

Having stayed at Cote de Nacre last year I was a little disappointed with the general appearance of the site.
The grass had not been cut nor the hedges, somebody did start this on the last day of our stay, pitches were also very sparse with grass in poor condition. One of the flower beds by the toilet blocks was simply full of weeds ....
the playground was not as good as the other site and you had to pay for wifi access
the restaurant was excellent
pool good but little supervision in terms of stopping boisterous teenagers from hurting/scaring smaller children, saw several incidents as they came hurtling down the slide onto smaller children who were happily playing
would return but disappointed that I'd bought a family with us on the recommendation of the first Yelloh site we stayed at and it simply did not match that site, I would query four stars but agree with three

Had a lovely time, but think site was looking a little shabby. Pitches unmown and untidy, had to clear up a lot (4 lots) of dog mess from my pitch before I could put my tent up. Inconsistent application and observation of rules of site especially in pool. No action when teenagers were regularly unruly in pool at 4.45 / 5pm each evening. no fresh fruit available in shop.
