Coming for a holiday at Le Littoral Yelloh! Village is to enjoy the delights of the Vendée coast with its 250 kilometres of shores, its fine sand, its holm-oak forests, dunes and lagoons. A region with a wealth of discoveries and perfect for a break. Le Puy du Fou, the Venise Verte (green Venice), the isles of Noirmoutier and Yeu, and La Rochelle... are just some of the destinations that will enchant you. You'll enjoy the diversity of this region, its geographical heritage: its ports, its islands, its marshes, its national forests and its cultural wealth.
The superb beach of Le Veillon awaits you for swimming and relaxing in the sun. It has been awarded the "Pavillon Bleu" (blue flag) for several years in succession, due to the quality of its water for bathing. Its miles of fine sand will make this your family's favourite holiday playground. Yours are the sandcastle competitions, lazy afternoons, and hours of relaxing in the water. Discover or rediscover water sports: surfing, sailing, kitesurfing ... A free shuttle will take you to Les Sables d'Olonne and to the beach of Le Veillon in July and August.
The area around the campsite embodies a real distillation of the Vendée: unspoilt coastline, beaches, marshes, forests, the hedged farmland, pretty ports, oyster-producing zones, a fortified castle... the beauty of its coast and the diversity of its landscapes make this a place to enjoy relaxing and a change of pace. This beautiful scenery is criss-crossed with cycle tracks: make the most of them to explore it.
The famous seaside resort of Les Sables d'Olonne is a former fishing hamlet. Its beautiful beaches were discovered in the 19th century, with the arrival of the train. You'll be enjoying the "most beautiful beach in Europe", with its lively atmosphere and retro ambience, and be bowled over by the sea and Les Sables.

With its 15th-century chateau, built by a certain Guy du Puy du Fou, this village has become famous for its historical re-enactments. You'll take a voyage in time at the Grand Parc du Puy du Fou. You'll be transported through history by the Roman games, the Viking invasion, and the knights of the middle ages, all in a giant theatre for epic shows.

The mild climate here is favourable to mimosas, fig trees and strawberry trees, lending quite a Mediterranean character to the Île de Noirmoutier. The white of the houses and the marshland salt, the green of the forests, and the blue of the sky and the sea - at sunrise, the spectrum stretches to infinity. It's hardly surprising that the great painters stayed here.

With its world's-end lighthouse - a copy of the one on Cape Horn - La Rochelle is a seafaring town with a wealth of history. Its miles of cycle tracks will let you explore the Vieux-Port, the beaches, parks and public gardens. The aquarium at La Rochelle, one of the largest in Europe, houses over 10,000 animals of various species.
