We had a warm welcome from the staff who were always courteous and friendly.
Our cottage was clean, comfortable and on a peaceful area of the park as requested.
We enjoyed the swimmers only morning sessions in the swimming pool.
The park is in lovely countryside with trees and hedges round the homes.

We were very impressed with the campsite. It was extremely clean and well cared for. It felt comfortable. The site was large enough and private. Our children loved the bouncy giraffe and trampolines, as well as the pool. We loved the restaurant and the weekly market.

Generally a nice site but very quiet, bar prices expensive hence why no one uses it very often we assumed. Shop was very small considering you are so far away from places and the ordering of baguettes etc seemed confusing with them being delivered and available at bar and reception as with the order form at different places during different times of the day.
Toilets were good and showers also, childrens facilities excellent but only for 9 and below as 9 - 12 would really struggle, teenagers would have nothing to do here except use swimming pool and also hang out causing lots fo noise by the trampolines in the dark of the evening (much to annoyance if your on the pitches next to them).
Complete lack of entertainment other than for children in the evening, nothing at the bar during the four nights we stayed.

Very nice, well laid out site with friendly and helpful staff. However, there are more camping pitches than mobile homes/chalets and this might explain the regular turnover of visitors. Many of the camping pitches were not occupied in August which I found strange. If this is a regular occurrence, I would recommend that the bigger pitches be used for more chalets/mobile homes which might increase occupancy rates. The number of camping pitches might also explain why this is not a site for teenagers. Good facilities for smaller kids up to ages 8/9.
The restaurant and shop need to be developed. Service in the restaurant was very slow and the selection in the shop was extremely limited.

We were allowed to choose a very quiet pitch away from the main areas - pitch no 137. This was a very large pitch which suited our needs. We used the pool once and the bar twice. We attempted to use the internet but the connection was down.
