La Plaine holiday club: organised sports and activities on the camping site
La Plaine Yelloh! Village, on the banks of the Ardèche, offers a variety of daytime and evening activities both on the premises and nearby. You'll have the chance to indulge in river sports, canoeing, kayaking, or fishing, or, if you like, relaxing over a game of petanque or a spot of fishing... The choice is yours and you can compile your own programme to suit you.
Gym area
Our new gym area allows you to get back into shape throughout your stay. Take advantage of your holidays to eliminate the stress accumulated throughout the year!
Canoeing/Kayaking
Paddle down the famous Gorges de l'Ardèche, passing beneath the Pont d'Arc, and; you'll find some imposing venues for a picnic, bathe, or a bivouac. A real escape.
The 6km "mini descent" takes you beneath the Pont d'Arc, while the "long descent" has you exploring the whole of the gorges.
Fishing
An anglers' paradise, the river Ardèche harbours a wealth of perfect spots for hunting game fish (large perch and a few pike), and prize specimens such as shad, eel, zander or carp. The budding angler can also begin by practising on the populations of white fish.
The Ardèche basin is a sizeable basin that collects all the water from the Ardèche Cévenne and some of the water derived from the upper Loire.

Oenology
In superb surroundings, come and discover the Ardèche vineyards and taste its wines. You'll visit vineyards, guided by the winegrower, who will explain all about the grape varieties, and the elaboration and bottling of the wines, sharing with you his passion for excellence in this art of winemaking. You'll then taste these wines in the cellar, in an old mas. A small contribution is requested.
Aerial assault courses
Explore the forest from a new angle and gorge yourself on nature. New thrills beckon you! Swing from tree to tree, using Tarzan's lianas, trapezes, aerial runways, Nepalese bridge, etc.... all led by a team of professionals.

Canyoning
Swimming down a river, using the natural slides which the river has gouged out in the limestone, jumping and climbing, taking advantage of the superb, tranquil pools. This is a unique way of exploring the canyon from the top of the river; an unforgettable experience! A state-qualified guide will accompany you on the watery journey, and you will be provided with a wetsuit, as well as all the necessary equipment for a completely safe descent.
Pony trekking
Enjoy a unique experience! Riding along the paths, between vines and dry-stone walls, you'll be guided by the singing of the cicadas. Time to cool down as you cross the 2 rivers; the Ardèche and the Chassezac.
Hiking
Travel along our beautiful footpaths, and you'll discover the superb natural attraction of the Ardèche. Come and explore sun-drenched southern Ardèche; cross the garrigue to the accompaniment of the cicadas singing and admire our vine-covered hillsides.
Your evening entertainment
Every single evening of the week during high season and two or three times per week in the low season, our whole team joins forces to give you an enjoyable evening with family or friends. We lay on dance nights, karaoke, cabaret evenings, dance and magic shows, clown act, etc.
