At an altitude of 500 metres, the Citadel of Sisteron is a historic monument located between Provence and the Dauphiné. With its fortifications, this citadel was seen as a strategic barrier on the road leading from the Alps to the Mediterranean.

Here, you can still see its keep, 13th century wall walk and 14th century ramparts.
