The San Sebastián Fireworks Festival

Get ready to be amazed during your campsite holiday! In the middle of August, the entire city of San Sebastián puts on its party clothes to celebrate the Semana Grande. During this week of festivities, when evening descends you really mustn't miss the famous fireworks festival: an international competition that every year has brought together the cream of this discipline since 1964 in a gorgeous setting!

Every evening, from 10.45pm, fireworks experts from all over the world take it in turns to present their show, the whole thing lasting around half an hour, on the splendid bay of la Concha. A sound and light show during which the lights are reflected in the Atlantic Ocean: quite simply magical! With your family or your friends, come and place your bets on the next winner of the world championship and give all your senses a real wake-up!

In 2024, the fireworks festival at San Sebastián will be taking place from 10 to 17 August.
