The courses camarguaises bullfights, the release of the bulls into the streets and the gardiannes (beef stews), which you can try in Carnon's restaurants, are reminders of the importance of bullfighting in the local culture.

Carnon's perfect location means a wide range of day trips are available. You could visit Montpellier, the hinterland of Hérault or the Camargue. Everything is possible! Carnon-Plage is a seaside resort with beaches known as Petit Travers and Grand Travers, which stretch out over 7 kilometres of sand dunes and fine sand. With Tourisme & Handicap and European Blue Flag status, the long beaches, which are cleaned and patrolled, and which have other amenities, are the perfect setting for family holidays at the Carnon-Plage campsite.
