The Montgolfiades Festival in Brissac-Quincé

Each year in August, the Montgolfiades Festival in Brissac-Quincé, a spectacular competition, is held in the grounds of the Château de Brissac! Watch several dozen hot-air balloons take to the air, offering this amazing event’s spectators a magical and poetic experience!

Departing from the castle’s park at sunset, these balloons and their pilots compete against each other as they fly over the Loire and the many vineyards of the Anjou. A summer’s evening offering a stunning show thanks to the beauty and variety of the hot-air balloons rising up into the sky as well as the sight of these different coloured dots in the panoramic view of the Château de Brissac.
