Did you know? French film Les Demoiselles de Rochefort was filmed in Rochefort. It was an obvious choice, director Jacques Demy having fallen head over heels with its famous Place Colbert. 150 members of the production team gathered in the town from 31st May to 27th August 1966, alongside Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac. Come and see this lovely square too!
