While with us, customers can feel at home, at their ease, close to nature and far away from daily worries. In our camping villages, we are concerned about the environment and respect for nature. Our Yelloh! Village quality charter echoes this preoccupation. We have emphasised:
Not just green spaces, our holiday areas are like big gardens where you live in the great outdoors. Regional architecture, site optimisation, discovery of the surrounding nature and a taste for the authentic are what identify Yelloh! Village. Yelloh! Village sites are particularly well looked after.
The architecture of the buildings is harmonious
We stress an architecture with regional character, which blends into the landscape. Our modern constructions also recall traditional architecture or a chosen architectural theme. At Yelloh! the buildings architecture has a duty to be in keeping. We are preoccupied by architectural unity and the harmony of the sites. Pedestrian areas have been created, where traffic is forbidden and parking areas are located nearby.
The green areas are landscaped
Our campsites are decorated with vegetation, flowers, trees and green areas. You will find a large variety of species. Priority is given to harmony with the whole area and the surrounding flora. Please note that:
Waste is collected and cleanliness is emphasised
We devote great care to cleanliness and to waste management:
Water and energy management
Our Yelloh! Village campsites manage water and energy intelligently. Some have chosen to rethink water in camping, to recover rainwater and recycle waste water out of respect for the environment. Others are developing natural swimming pools with no use of chemical products. Finally, all at Yelloh! Village are green-thinking, and staff movements in the campsite are done by bicycle or in small electric cars.
We invite you to discover natural environments
A large number of environmental discovery activities are offered to you, by the sea, in the countryside or in the mountains. We want to share our passion for our beautiful regions and our knowledge of flora and fauna with children in the mini-clubs, and with adults through the sporting discovery activities of hiking, riding or mountain-biking.
Since 1998, La Clef Verte has been the foremost international environmental label for tourist accommodation. Created by the French Foundation for Environmental Education, it rewards campsites, hotels and gites for their dynamism vis-à-vis the environment in the following areas: general environmental management, waste management, water management, energy management, environmental education and land development.
Among our Yelloh! Village campsites, five are labelled Clef Verte: Le Domaine du Colombier, Les Grands Pins, Le Panorama du Pyla, le Port de Plaisance and Le Fayolan.
