Camping Pointe du Raz

Come and discover the exceptional location of the Pointe du Raz, and soak up the beauty of the Brittany wilderness

Pointe du Raz camping holidays
Listed as a "Grand Site de France", the Pointe du Raz is an exceptional location which draws around a million visitors every year. So when you come and stay in a nearby campsite, you'll have ringside seats for enjoying the breathtaking features and landscapes of the Pointe du Raz, which has provided some of France's great writers with their inspiration, such as Victor Hugo and Gustave Flaubert.
Whether you're an active person or less so, you'll still enjoy the secure, landscaped paths which cross the moors and which take you to the Pointe du Raz as you pass around the sides of the cliffs. The Pointe du Raz, which reaches a height of around 70 metres, stands proudly looking out to the ocean. With sheer rocks and powerful sea currents (as its name indicates, "raz" meaning a very violent sea current passing through a narrow point), the Pointe du Raz, looking out to the turbulent Raz de Sein, is an impressive sight. Enjoy the wonderful panorama in front of you with, out to sea, Ile de Sein, the square lighthouse of La Vieille and the lighthouse of Tévennec. But as well as the steep landscapes of this wild area of Brittany, don't forget to look out for the flora and fauna of the Pointe du Raz.

Camping Pointe du Raz
And as well as this, for people who are keener on water than on land, the Baie des Trépassés, enclosed on each side by the Pointe du Raz and the Pointe du Van, is the perfect place with its long, wild beach.
And if you're feeling a bit peckish, don't worry, the Pointe du Raz has several shops and restaurants.
