Ramatuelle's renown stems from its highly popular beach called Pampelonne, which has been awarded status as an espace naturel remarquable and which stretches over an area of more than 27 hectares.
Ramatuelle has a historic fort, the Dolmen du Cap Taillat (a tomb dating from 2,000 BC), the 16th century Porte Sarrasine, the Cap Camarat lighthouse, built in 1829 (the second-largest in France), Château Volterra and, for cinema lovers, the Château de Saint-Amé, which has been used as a set for various films.
