Running alongside the Canal du Midi, Portiragnes is a lovely town in the South of France. With seaside, vineyards and hillsides, Portiragnes is the perfect place to spend your next holiday!
There are so many different ways of exploring this fantastic region: on foot, by bike, on horseback or by boat. You can also travel up the Canal du Midi, which passes through Portiragnes and Portiragnes Plage, the latter having been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 1996.

 Just 4 km from the old village you’ll find the town’s coastal area, called Portiragnes-Plage. Designed during the 1960s using an environmentally-friendly approach, it has an attractive, long, fine sand beach. You’ll be able to enjoy all sorts of activities here, including sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, fishing and bodyboarding, or you can just laze around in the sunshine! Every family member will find an activity to suit them!
