Camping Hautes-Alpes

The Hautes-Alpes is also renowned for its national heritage sites, its traditions and picturesque towns and villages. Come and wander through the town of Briançon, one of the sunniest towns in France, or along the walls of the Mont Dauphin fortress, discover the town centre of Embrun not far from the Serre-Ponçon Lake or admire the magnificent landscapes of Argentière-la-Bessée or the beautifully preserved village of La Grave. Take advantage of the occasion to go hiking in the region – the panoramic views will take your breath away. And a visit to the village of Saint-Véran is a must. At 2,000 metres above sea level, it is one of the highest villages in Europe. And it’s one of the most beautiful village of France!

The Hautes-Alpes is the ideal region for sporting activities in the heart of nature: skiing in winter (it boasts an enormous number of ski resorts), hiking in summer and why not try your hand at canyoning, rafting, via ferrata or some rock climbing. A thousand adventures await you!
