Yelloh! En Champagne camping with sport and activities

The bike is king

A 37-km bike trail starting at the campsite leads you around the lake in complete safety. To make exploring the lake even easier, we hire out bikes with electric motors. If you are feeling braver, you can go to the city of Troyes, using a new section of the bike trail. The distance there and back is around 150 km.

Lac du Der bird observatories

The special facilities and the bird observatories on the edge of the lake, which are available to the public, make it very easy to watch the migrating birds and especially the cranes. Well hidden in one of the observatories or out walking on the discovery trail, you'll witness a unique sight. The natural and unspoilt area around the Lac du Der is home to over 270 bird species, such as the crane, which nests some 300 metres from the campsite.

Water sports on the Lac du Der

10 km long, and with its 77 km of shorÉline, the Lac du Der is a vast lake where all the joys of water sports lie in store for you. Sailing, catamaran, windsurfing, canoeing, and rowing: enthusiasts will be delighted. What's more, 600 hectares are reserved for motor boats and jet skis.

Forays into the forest

We organise nature walks in the forest. Aimed at all ages, Tthese outings provide a better understanding of the flora and fauna, and encourage them to take the time to appreciate the beauty of the natural environment. Take advantage of your holidays for a great big breath of fresh air.

Pays du Der Museum

A little was away from the Der Lake, the new Museum keeps a real record of the heritage of the Pays du Der. In a peaceful, green setting, bring the family to see the old professions, crafts and traditions of villages which are long gone; the House of Nature and its gardens; the Pigeon Loft and the bread oven; the blacksmith's house, and so much more.

Your evening entertainment

We offer you five weekly entertainments in the high season, with a variety of shows put together for you: magicians, singers and karaoke. Nature evenings for young and old, like the bat safari and the Lac du Der slide show, so you can learn more about the surrounding countryside, and then of course there are the children's shows and the musical entertainment...
