The campsite itself is small, quiet and attractive in a beautiful location, next to the Lac du Der.
However, the busy and noisy D384 road which runs directly along the campsite, with a lot of lorry traffic, even in the evening and early morning, spoils the peace and quiet, which is a shame.
Also, it lacks certain facilities like a covered swimming pool, which it would benefit from during cold and rainy days. When the weather is bad, like during our stay, there is not much to do.

Disappointed that grocery shopping facilities were so restricted. The pool was smaller than expected.
Accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the site was quiet.

during our holiday we stayed at 4 yelloh sites. en champagne, le fayolan, val de la loire and domaine d'inly. All sites were very nicely maintained and the facilities were excellent. we liked the yelloh villages very much.

Site, well kept and nicely presented. Access to the beach poor
Shop poor and you had to ask for it to be opened.
Service in restaurant/cafe of variable quality/ slow service.
Pool nice but unsupervised and sometimes dangerous with older kids diving/ jumping anywhere

A good holiday, though camping pitches were a very muddy.
Pool would be better with a few small slides
Entertainment was good - the translator Jessi was excellent at including all the kids of different nations. Keep working hard to maintain range of languages spoken there.

pitch was very small and right next to the toilets. this meant that children were making a noise in the toilet block area late nto the night plus every time anyone went to the toiet block in the night we were awoken by the lights and noise that was made. The showers had very cold water
excellent on site restaurant good food with excellent service.

Had a very nice time but the noise from the road was bad and went on all night. The shop would have been better if it had of been open full time.
Very nice swimming pool and good access to the beach . very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food from the resteraunt.

other staff just as good.
excellent amenities.
would definitely come back if nearby and recommend chalets we viewed to friends and family.
only downside was overpriced food and drink in cafe. so we bought nothing.
