GOOD POINTS- friendly welcome - liked the Provencal cottage - air conditioning was welcome - we liked the mesh window blinds - good shower unit - verandah seating area very good - the unit was clean on arrival - like parking directly outside the cottage - nice grounds to walk around in the campsite - fantastic swimming pool - town centre was fairly close with lots of restaurants to choose from. NOT SO GOOD - the main bedroom was small,making it difficult to get in and out of bed - the on site restaurant seemed to cater mostly for large groups of people and did not seem to cater for couples - choice of menu was limited - no shop on site for basic food items - pool not open until 11am!

The site was ideally situated by the river and the pitches were a good size. The pool and other facilities on site were excellent. The only drawbacks were:- 1) No shop on site for basic essentials (e.g. milk,etc) 2) No on site facility to supply camping gas refills

Our first observation was that the park was in a really lovely setting and had been laid out really well. Our cottage was lovely and clean and well laid out with everything in it that was required for our stay. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful.

Clean shower facilities, but do wish toilet paper could be provided as it is a nuisance taking loo rolls around with you each time you use the toilets! Liked the respect given by all different nationalities on the camp site with peace and quiet by 11pm. Would stay here again and recommend to others. Camp site a good location next to the river where you can cool off and take a dip. Local town of Greoux les bains nearby in driving or walking distance for purchase of provisions or eating out at the many pretty little restaurants.

Verdon Park was in a very good location, not too far from the town, so could go for a lovely walk after travelling most of the day. Staff very nice and was camp very clean and tidy.

We had previously holidayed in La Petite Camargue" and were so so pleased with our 2 stays there that we booked at a different Yelloh site. We expected it to be quieter, with less animation but a similar atmosphere to the camargue site. We were disappointed that there was almost nothing happening at all. The site appeared to be in a semi closed state with most of the few visiters there being in the 70 plus age group. The swimming pool and surrounding area was clean and well presented but the adjoining cafe was closed. Even the cafe at the reception and the tennis courts were completely empty of people or atmosphere. We had understood that there was some kind of shop but all we found available was the pre order of bread the day before. The mobile home was clean and perfectly acceptable and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Despite that, we would hesitate to return to this site as there just wasn't any atmosphere. We suspect that in the months of July and August there would be more activity/people and consequentailly more atmosphere, but at the time we visited it was more like staying on a very pleasant army barracks. We felt that if the site is only fully open for half of the season then this should be stated on the website. Even the local activities advertised such as conoeing turned out to not have started yet. We shall soon be holidaying with Yelloh again but I think we will be going back to the Camargue."
