Overall very good, the children were entertained and the activities kept them busy. I would suggest mandatory feet cleaning at the pools. Would add a shower at the pool and activities for young children so that the parent can - for instance - go to the spa.

Staff extremely helpful and quick to respond to problems, site generally very tidy but not enough lighting, got lost walking around the site in the dark - everything looks the same at night with nothing to show us the right directions. Mobile home not up to the standard that I would expect for the money. 4 light bulbs missing in mobile home, heater didn't work to start, hob very dirty with grease, bed broken, missing glass in fridge cobwebs in the corner- this should have been perfect as it was the start of the season.

Overall we had a lovely stay at the Yelloh Village Sylvamar Campsite, the staff were very helpful, the pitch we were allocated was a good size, showers / toilets were kept very clean and the shops / restaurants were well catered. The only point I would like to bring to your attention and this would have a real bearing on whether we would return back to Sylvamar would be the swimming pool. The majority of the surface surrounding the pool complex which I would say was a lovely aquatic area is made from tiles which are extremely slippery and on 3 occasions both of my sons fell over whilst we were holding their hands walking and my wife fell with my 17 month old son in her arms coming off the bridge and slipped over and fell on her back. She banged her elbow which swelled up (double the size) and she was unable to use it for the remainder of our holiday (4 days). She is still experiencing pain and has been told by a Doctor that she was lucky not to have broken it but she has damaged the nerves and muscles which will take weeks/months to recover. We know that we were not the only clients of yours who fell as we witnessed on a number of occassions adults and children slipping / falling over on a daily basis. With all the health and safety checks and rules that I am sure you have to abide to I feel that the surface of your swimming pool at Sylvamar should be looked at as one day someone will have a major accident as if my wife had fallen and hit her head it would be another story. Simply putting down more rubber mats through the paths where people walk would definitely help.

Overall Camping Sylvamar is a great campsite. The pitches are a great size and perfectly shaded and the facilities are easily accessible. The indoor pool is a great addition and it's location to the beach and other activities is good. On the negative side, the tiles around the pool area are very slippery when wet, which is most of the time! I was very surprised they aren't non-slip tiles- my daughter slipped and hurt her head. A few were missing too. The shop is expensive!

It had been 4 yrs. since we last visited Sylvamar : the cleanliness of the VIP Chalet wasn't brilliant. The pools were good, but the pedestrian areas around the pool should've been swept more often - grit from the indoor pool (path surrounding the pool) made it painful to walk sometimes.

Overall I was satisfied with the stay overall, we were dissapointed when the entertainment stooped so suddenly. I understand that in low season things do wind down, but the park was still quite full and a disco with a DJ doesnt take much effort, we had 4 teenage children with us and thy were bored in the evenings once this finnished.

Great location, facilities and entertainment of a high standard. Only complaint the restaurant was just ok, food not as impressive as location. This is our second year at Sylvarmar and would recommend it to people.
