On the beaches of L'Espiguette, the loveliest beaches of the French Mediterranean, you can enjoy the delights of doing nothing: sunbathing and swimming in the sea. There are lots of water sports available in the resort of Grau du Roi/Port Camargue. And 10 minutes away, there's kitesurfing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, and so much more - see www.windsurf-park.com
This is above all a fishing village... You'll love being there when the fishing boats come in, and buying the freshly-caught fish.
You'll discover the Camargue, all of which you'll find compelling. A regional nature reserve where you can set off on horseback and watch the white horses, black bulls and pink flamingos.
In Aigues-Mortes, you'll explore the city surrounded by its 13th-century ramparts, many restaurants and picturesque shops.
A little further afield, some towns of character: Roman Nîmes, Montpellier and Arles, not forgetting the Pont du Gard, Uzès and its duchy, Anduze as well as the magic of the Cévennes, while major cultural events enliven the summer months in the Languedoc Roussillon. We will be happy to provide you with information in the Secrets de Camargue Reception or in the region's tourist offices.
