What is balneotherapy?
The benefits of balneotherapy have long been proven. "Sanitus per aquam": health and well-being through the water, as the Romans had long since known. Balneotharapy uses fresh water (as opposed to thalassotherapy, which is based on the benefits of sea water). Balneotherapy is the combined effect of heat, hydromassage and weightlessness. Water-jet massage relaxes the muscles and releases an extraordinary sensation of well-being into the stress points like the nape of the neck and the back. The massaging and soothing effects of the water promote total relaxation.
