7 good reasons to visit our region

1. The Costa Brava and its beaches with their crystal-clear water

Lying between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, along with its fishing ports, beaches with crystalline water and little pebbly inlets, the region benefits from an exceptional amount of sunshine. As well as swimming, the Costa Brava is brimming with activities: from water sports to golf and horse-riding to hiking; you'll be spoilt for choice. Here, you'll also be bowled over by the local seafood-based cuisine and the mountain produce to be found there.

2. Cadaqués and Figueras

Here can visit the Salvador Dali museum and house. Ever-captivating attractions, these are worth the detour. With its little rocky island, the port of Cadaqués has inspired countless artists, notably Dali, whose house has been transformed into a museum. The region is a treasure trove of secrets to discover.

3. The Catalan hinterland

Remarkable and rich in history, Catalonia conceals enchanting scenery where sea and mountain merge. Beautiful Gerona, with its medieval quarter, villages like Peretallada, and Ampurias with its greco-roman ruins.

4. The Catalan Pyrenees

Unforgettable! If you head towards the hills, you'll discover nature reserves beloved by hikers, little valleys hiding the source of the Garonne, ski resorts and unspoilt countryside.

5. Barcelona, the flamboyant

From Gaudi's mischievous houses, to the Parc Güell to gothic architecture, the Catalan capital features architectural treasures encompassing Catalan tradition and avant-garde. Follow the Ramblas (Les Rambles) from the Plaça de Catalunya to the port and, seated on the terrace of one of the many cafes, you'll fall for the festive and heady charms of Barcelona. Everything here is buzzing with noise, colour and vitality.

6. La Casa Mágica

You'll find the famous Magic house 1 km from the campsite. Created by Catalonia's best-known magician, "Xevi", who still holds the record driving with a blind fold!
During this visit, the history of magic is depicted for you in photos, paintings, tarot cards, books, mystical objects, etc.

7. The “cova d’en daina” Dolmen

2 km away, you'll be able to visit the famous "cova d'en daina" (cave of the fallow deer) Dolmen. Its date of construction is estimated to be between 2700 and 2200 BC.
A unique visit to one of the best-preserved historic sites.
