I would have given a much higher score as the facilities where great but, are pitch was next to the staff cabins. A number of the staff where partying and shouting till fine 2am in the morning 4 nights out of the nine we stayed which spoilt what would have been a relaxing holiday.

We have been every year to Contis Plage since we moved to France, we love it and will definitely be returning next year for our main holiday and perhaps for more weekend breaks. We loved the addition of the trampolines for the children. The criticisms we do have are that we feel if the site is advertised as having a shop on site it should be just as well stocked and open for croissants in the morning to all the other items we had to travel to the supermarket in St Julien for. Also the cafe/restaurant was closed most of the time, so when we wanted a coffee or ice creams for the children, it just seemed very erratic as to when it was open. Lastly we like to stay in the River Chalets and this year our view of the estuary opening to the sea was blocked by trees which is a shame as it is beautiful and what better way to pass an evening eating a meal looking out at the beautiful view.

We had a great stay! The facilities were great, everything was clean, restaurant was affordable and we loved the bienvenue" bag and bottle of wine in our chalet when we arrived. Very well thought out. It's a shame you can't access the beach from the back of the campsite because of the houses. We requested a chalet close to the beach and were very happy but would have loved another exit closer to our chalet."

Lovely location, facilities superb although the toilets could have been a bit cleaner and not so smelly. Our cottage was lovely but needed more storage space and food preparation area. The two ring hob is not sufficient for cooking, the provision of a cooker would be better as we were unable to cook meals and had no facility to even grill food (we regularly stay in eurocamp/keycamp accommodation where this is a standard fixture). We understand why there are desiganted bbq areas, but feel there could have been a few more.

A well run site, with good Kids club but also quiet at night - just what families want. However, access to the beach is described as being within through dunes and 500m away - this is not true. Yes, you do cross dunes but only having walked through the village of Contis Plage first! First impressions were also coloured by staff insisting we complete an inventory of all items in our chalet - we had just spent an overnight ferry crossing followed by a 9 hour drive so counting out knifes and forksetc etc was NOT the start to my annual holiday that I had expected!

We love the site at Lous Seurrots, Contis Plage. Best points - setting, swimming pools, restaurant, accomodation. Suggestions are - to buy some more yellow parasols like you used to have, for the bar. They looked lovely. It was too hot for us to sit outside the bar in the sun without shade. - a pedestrian entrance at the top of the site, operated with the same card that opens the barrier for cars. I know this can be done, as it is on the Yelloh site at Lake Leon. It would be easier for those going out to the cycle track, canoeing etc

We found the cooking facilities for 6 people was not suffient, 2 rings for cooking for 6 was not enough, the chalet needed at least a grill, kettle, teapot, toaster, the inventory was incorrect on our arrival. The hired bed linen was very clean as was the chalet on our arrival. not enough chairs to sit on in comfort outside.

excellent Aquagym sessions. Generally very good facilities. Disappointed there was no container for water included in the tent and one blanket per bed was not really enough - it was often very cold during the night.

The site was very clean, restaurant excellent, great position to get to the beach. We were really pleased that out little dog could go onto the beach, which is very unusual. Even with dogs, the beach was lovely. Chalets are comfortable, but a sqeeze as expected for these types of accomadaion. Not alot seemed to be going on for the older children. My son loves to backflip and dive into the pool, which was not allowed, so he found even that a bit boring.
