Lovely site, with easy access to surrounding area. We had booked a fully serviced pitch, which was fantastic; it was so good to have our own facilities on our pitch. The staff were super friendly, and so happy to help with any questions and several times provided advice on places to visit in the area. My only criticism is that everything stopped on the 1st September, which was half way through our holiday. I do understand that it may not have been feasible to keep the bar and the restaurant open if the site wasn't busy, but I didn't understand why they stopped the bread delivery; especially as there appeared to be enough people on site?

We have stayed at this campsite for many years, originally in a tent, then motorhome now we stay in the mobile homes. We have watched it mature, and we love it, but the only negative I have is the condition of the covered pool. It is desperate for an over haul - the water is cloudy, the tiles on the floor cracked, and have been for at least 6 years. The outside 2 pools are fine.

I loved staying here, the staff were super helpful, I arrived drenched from heavy rain and they were kind enough to upgrade me to accommodation where I could sleep and keep my bike and all my stuff dry instead of putting my tiny tent up in the rain, and they only charged me the difference in the cost. Thank you! They were also really helpful for me to charge my phone, fill my flask with boiling water, and advise me on the concert that evening and the menu. I really enjoyed swimming in the undercover pool, and all the amenities were sparkling clean, it really was excellent.

Although the site was partially closed and we only stayed two nights, we were treated well from check-in to check-out. A special shout goes to Claire who tried so well to overcome the language barrier (along with my school French), She also was very sympathetic and understanding regarding our special circumstances regarding a family bereavement.
