We really enjoyed our holiday. We all had an enjoyable time. The cabin was great, although very hot at night. Fans would have been good. The restaurant, pool, cinema and barbecue facillities were all very clean, very well presented and enjoyable, especially the food in the restaurant. it was delicious and very reasonably priced. We found the receptionists very friendly, helpful and informative. They helped us plan a couple of days out and helped us with our Sanish.
We would all agree we had a happy holiday and would definately go again.
The one thing that did spoil it all for us was that there were two babies in the cabin opposite us and two sets of noisy Spanish parents and then a toddler boy. So seven in total in one cabin and they were very noisy. Its tricky to know what to say, but sadly it did ruin it for us as there was no respite from them and not much peace from their screaming babies and i like babies. There were lots of families on site, it was busy which was fine, just as you would expect in fact, but they were intrusive. There was just too many in the one cabin. it spoilt the restful and relaxing atmosphere we'd experienced in the first week, on the second week for us all.

We had a lovely time in Minorca and really enjoyed the Island and the wonderful weather. We were able to go to a different beach each day and to try a variety of swimming and water sports (kayaking & snorkelling). The Climate really is amazing and very special for British people; clear and warm sea waters to swim in, no need for a wet suit (unlike at home!). We also went on a boat trip from Cuitadella which was a lovely introduction at the start of our trip. I would recommend taking a hire car when visiting the Island as it is a rural area with limited bus links.
All of the places we visited were delightful. Eating out in Menorca was a pleasure and inexpensive wherever we went. The locals seemed friendly and helpful. One night we attended a Spanish Fiesta at Sant Llius and saw some Spanish Dancing Horses" which was an amazing spectacle to see.
The Yelloh! village exceeded our expectations - the bar & restaurant were very good; on one night we ate at the restaurant BBQ which was impressive and very memorable. The swimming pool was excellent, the other sports facilities looked good (although I didn't use them!). The camping tent has a lovely view of the Island which was very special. The tent itself was fine (although a light for the terrace would have been good to have).
The Toilets and Shower Block were clean and of an acceptable standard (although the plumbing and the "push button" showers did not always work well in each cubicle). We did find that we had a long walk from our tent to use the toilets and showers; this became a bit tedious after a while(!) but hey, that's camping!
I appreciated the fact that the site was "low key"; for example I have stayed at Lacanau Ocean in 2014 which had great facilities, However for me I found that place to be a bit too busy for me during the peak holiday season etc.
The staff at Yelloh! Village were fine and spoke excellent English (and other languages) which was appreciated."
