Le Ranolien Yelloh! Village campsite is located in the heart of one of Brittany's natural protected sites. Perros-Guirec, on the Côte de Granit Rose (Pink Granite coast), offers a fantastically beautiful, unusual and imposing landscape where land and sea are strewn with pink granite boulders whose forms have been sculpted over thousands of years by the wind and the waves.
You can reach the customs footpath directly from the campsite. This superb walk lets you explore the famous topsy-turvy granite formations of Ploumanac'h, with the beach of Saint-Guirec nestling behind it. From exploring the imposing granite formations on foot to mountain biking, Perros-Guirec offers a vast array of circuits, walks and hikes (over 40 kilometres of signposted tracks). With the Sentier des Douaniers, Vallée des Traouïeros, or the Trestrignel seaside trail, you can tour our region on horseback or mountain bike, by bicycle or even sea kayak.
An old fishing harbour, Perros-Guirec now has a new lease of life: a seaside resort offering rejuvenating thalassotherapy, boat trips, a casino, tennis... Created at the beginning of the last century, it has managed to preserve the quaint charm of the Belle Epoque. On its 13 kilometres of coastline, and boasting three large, fine sandy beaches, Perros-Guirec enjoys a sweeping view of the Sept-Iles archipelago, one of France's largest bird sanctuaries.
A few miles off the pink-granite coast, this unspoilt archipelago is the indisputable kingdom of marine birds. Imagine thousands of gannets, hundreds of puffins, small penguins, cormorants and seagulls nesting amongst the rocks. You are not allowed to disembark, except on the Ile aux Moines. The only way to get close to these birds is to take one of the organised boat trips around this archipelago.
Aboard these boats, guides will share their passion with you. You can embark at the little port of Ploumanac'h or at the harbour station of Perros-Guirec, where you can also catch boats to the Île de Bréhat. Go and make a reservation in Le Ranolien reception from the start of your holiday.
A superb boat ride at the end of which you'll have the rest of the day to explore one of Brittany's most beautiful islands. Leave from the beach at Trestraou in July and August and throughout the year from the Pointe de l'Arcouest, off Paimpol.
Set off on a discovery of Brittany and its secrets. Explore the old centre of Lannion, the town of Tréguier, full of character, the cliffs of Plougrescant, and the many ports along the coast.
You'll be captivated by the charming marina at Paimpol, which is amongst the most beautiful attractions in France. The maritime abbey of Beauport and its 800-year history are waiting to unveil medieval Brittany to you. And to delight your children, the famous Trieux steam train lets you relive the charm of train journeys of yesteryear. Go to the Pointe de l'Arcouest for a trip to the exclusive site of the Ile de Bréhat and its fantastic flora.
