We were very happy with our stay, the only problem being the bedding provided not being adequate for cold nights, as I was told by Yelloh! staff only to bring sheets. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much and found all staff to be friendly and helpful.

We were courteously received by a friendly and helpful staff. The Manager and his wife were particularly so.
The weather was poor and the site was quiet, bar and restaurant little used - none of wwhich was the fault of the staff. But this was the reason we cut our visit down to 4 nights instead of 8.
I have awarded 7 but this is for the reasons above.

Actually we had a terrible time at this campsite, We were a party of 6 cyclists who arrived after cycling 150km that day and wanted a rest and a peaceful night's sleep. Instead we had to put up with very loud music from the band and then afterwards the bar until past midnight, plus a lot of other campers making a lot of noise walking past our tents, Whilst we can accept that we chose the wrong campsite for us, what annoyed me the most was that upon arrival I expressed my concern to the reception staff about noise levels late into the evening, I was told specifically that there would be no music and that the campsite would be very quiet after 8pm when the welcome party had finished. The staff member who told me this was clearly telling a spectacular lie, so it later transpired. Had we been told the truth we probably would have actually changed campsites. A second staff member was more helpful and persuaded the first to let us change pitch to move us further away from the noise. All the same we had a frustrated and noisy night and slept badly. Furthermore the quality of the washing facilities was less than we found on all other campsites visited in a 10 day holiday - examples are: no way to bring your clothes into the showers and keep them dry, no hooks to hold the shower head up, so you have to hold it yourself, no toilet paper in the toilets, no bins on hand for small bits of rubbish, etc. DIsappointing when this was also the campsite that charged the most.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, particularly the gentleman (Andre ?) who showed us to our accommodation, greeted us warmly each day and showed interest in our planned journeys and general wellbeing.

cottage comfortable and well equipped. Awning over decking terrace leaked in certain places. The staff of the site very friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi was very useful as was the shop on site. Being able to book visits from the reception was a bonus.
