Winter skiing holidays at the Escapade camping
Skiing and snowboarding in the Pyrenees
In the Eastern Pyrenees there are lots of different activities available in winter. L'Escapade holiday village is in the middle of the ski resorts of the Eastern Pyrenees. The 9 family-friendly resorts of Cerdagne and Capcir, including the ones at Font-Romeu and Les Angles, which together are called the "Neiges Catalanes", will provide you with opportunities to spend days skiing or snowboarding through the winter holidays.
You only have to go over the border (a few minutes by car) before you're among some of the largest skiing areas in the Pyrenees: Grandvalira in Andorra, together with Masella and la Molina in Spain are great places for skiing.
France’s and Spain’s Nordic skiing areas
Catalonia's Nordic skiing areas provide all sorts of marked skiing trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, as well as loads of other activities for families to enjoy: walking, snowshoeing, Nordic walking, a play area for children, dog sledding, biathlon, snow kiting, horse riding and more.
You can enjoy the peace of the large, snow-covered areas at the Nordic areas of Matemale, Les Angles and Font-Romeu as well as Lles, Aransa and Guils-Fontanera in Spain.
After skiing
And the day carries on after skiing at l'Escapade holiday park ! Come and enjoy a wonderfully relaxing time after a day spend out in the open. Having skied down the long slopes of powder snow, top up your energy levels in the natural bubbling hot water basins of Llo or at the thermal springs centre of Caldea, which really is an oasis in the heart of the Principality of Andorra.
