Yelloh Village Biarritz is an exceptional campsite. We arrived at reception to be greeted by a very cheerful and happy employee, who clearly enjoyed her job and was always helpful and informative whenever answering questions. The independent facilities on our motor-home pitch is the way forward, instead of communal showers, on site you get your own mini shack that has a washing up area, shower & toilet + kitchenette with fridge freezer and toilet. There is also a heated towel rail, washing airer and an outside covered seating area with 2 sun loungers. The indoor and outdoor pool areas were always clean and tidy. There is an on-site shop that is very handy and a local Lidl & Intermarche supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Some evenings in the bar their was a live singer/ band who were very good. There are good transport links to Biarritz, Sant Jean de luz & San Sebastian just be aware of return bus/ train schedule as we found out the cost to San Sebastian is extremely cheap 5.5 Euros return but the timetable changed whilst we were there & we had to get a taxi back at 60 Euros.

As always an enjoyable stay. The reception staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. On the odd occasion that help was required the matter was dealt with quickly - the technical staff were efficient and also very polite and friendly. The campsite has all the facilities you need and its location is excellent for Biarritz/Bayonne and Bidart/Guethary. No complaints whatsoever.

Good location and nice reception staff. The room was just about big enough with lots of cooking facilities. Pool was okay and pool boy was great helped me clean bubblegum of my foot. No hewing hun should be allowed in pool. Good facilities for younger kids need more for older kids.

Extremely helpful staff, fabulous campsite with great facilities and our mobile home was super. The only small negative are the plastic mattress protectors and the disposable / recyclable bed linen which are both just too hot and sweaty in hot weather. Pillows also very uncomfortable.

The location and the facilities are very good and we were very impressed with the camper van pitches with private bathroom and fridge facilities - the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great pizzas from the restaurant. The only negatives were that we couldn't access Wi-Fi despite several attempts in different locations, and on one day there was construction noise from new fencing being put up - this looked like the sort of work that could have been done when you're closed rather than right next to occupied pitches. For this reason our score is an 8.
