1. Avril : la Fête des Plantes
La Fête des Plantes (Plant Festival) is getting more and more popular. This takes place in the splendid park of the Villa Aurélienne, amongst Roman remains and majestic umbrella pines. Horticulturalists from the South of France present their wares here: a festival of plants, rare specimens, shapes and colours - and more! This exhibition of Mediterranean plants is not to be missed - and the plants are available for sale.
Come and join us for Easter at the Domaine du Colombier: there's a great Chocolate Treasure Hunt for the children!
2. May
Harley-Davidson Eurofestival
An OPEN event - all motorbikes are welcome. The prestigious marque organises an exceptional weekend in the Gulf of St-Tropez: concerts on the beach, parades of customised motorbikes, various demonstrations, dealers, HOG® (Harley Owners Group) welcome stands, and much more.
Trips to explore the hinterland or along the Côte d'Azur - at this time of year, it's wonderful!
The International Kite Surf contest is held at Fréjus, attracting more and more experts, providing a spectacle on the water that delights everyone.
Cannes Film Festival
Come and stroll along the Croisette and spot your favourite stars. Since 1946, the International Film Festival has been the most important event in the world of cinema, and all countries, genres and trends have been represented here. The Cinema de la Plage (Open-air Cinema) is open to everyone - just get tickets from the Tourist Office in the town of Cannes.
Monaco Grand Prix
The Monaco Grand Prix has fascinated fans of Formula 1 Since 1929. It takes place beside the sea, in the midst of the town, and involves 78 circuits of a course measuring 3,367km in length. This motor race really gets the Principality buzzing, as well as the crowd.
3. June: Music Festival
Ever since it began, the music festival has enjoyed mounting success. Created in June 1982, this event celebrates the summer solstice, and musicians and singers from the world over entertain us throughout France, to the delight of young and old. You'll see amateurs and professionals playing for you onstage and in the streets. Classical, jazz, rock, and world music - there will be something for all tastes. If you enjoy listening to or playing music, dancing and singing, come and join the party!
With the help of their activity leader at Le Domaine du Colombier, your children will prepare a surprise for you on Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day.

Les Soirées de l'Eté
(‘Summer Evenings') Musical events in the early evening.
Les Nuits de Feu (‘Nights of Fire') Festival of pyrotechnic art with the Port of Fréjus centre stage, lit up by millions of stars and flashes of light.
Fréjus fête son Port
(‘Fréjus celebrates its port') Fréjus was one of the most important Mediterranean ports in Roman times, then it became choked with sand. Finally, in 1989, the town found its maritime vocation again. The port of Fréjus is a link between the historical past and the present, expressed in neo-Palladian architecture and facades in warm Provencal tones. Acting troupes from the regional area present street theatre there, reconnecting with the old traditions.
Les Nuits Auréliennes (‘Aurelian Nights') A theatre festival in one of the oldest monuments in the Roman city.
5. August
Les Nuits de feu:
(‘Nights of Fire') Festival of pyrotechnic art with the Port of Fréjus centre stage, lit up by millions of stars and flashes of light.
Fête du Raisin: (‘Grape Festival') Tradition unique to Provence, combining the sacred with folklore.
Féria: This takes place in the heart of the town, at the Roman arena.

Giant Omelette at Saint-Aygulf
10,000 eggs, 30 litres of oil, kilos of herbs - in a pan more than 3 metres in diameter, heated for 3 hours and enjoyed by several hundred gourmets!
7. October
Roc d'Azur
The most important mountain bike event in the world attracts more than 25,000 visitors each year, with bike rides, competitions, events, bike shows, and more. The courses are marked out in the Maures massif, and events take place at La Base Nature. Trials are open to all, French or other nationalities.

Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez
(‘The Sails of Saint-Tropez') For a week, the bay of Saint-Tropez welcomes more than 250 sailing boats and 3,000 sailors, taking part in numerous regattas celebrating sport and friendship. Whether the boats are hundreds of years old or products of the latest technology, all come together to show their exceptional power and grace in a spectacle full of colour and emotion.
